Global warming or climate change, is a subject that shows no signs of decline. Here is the conclusion about why this happened, what caused it, and how it might change the Earth.
Is it happening?
Yes. The Earth is already showing signs of a lot of climate change all over the place. The average temperature has risen 0.8 degrees Celsius around the world since 1880 in recent decades, according to NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies.
According to The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the rate of warming is increasing. The last two decades of the 20th century were the warmest in 400 years. The Arctics is feeling the most effect. Average temperatures in Alaska, Western Canada and Eastern Russia has risen to twice the global average.
Artics is rapidly disappearing, and it may be the first place that is free of ice in the summer of 2040. Polar bears are already suffering from the loss of sea ice.
Is human causing it?
The IPCC report, based on the work of some 2,500 scientists in more than 130 countries, concluded that humans have caused most of the warming of the planet at the moment.
Industrialization, deforestation, and pollution have greatly increased the concentrations of atmospheric water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and other greenhouse gases have been trapping heat near the Earth’s surface. Human produce carbon dioxide into the atmosphere much faster than plants and oceans can absorb it.
What is going to happen?
The IPCC report warned that global warming could cause shortages of food and water on a large scale and has an adverse effect on wildlife. Sea level could rise between 7 and 23 inches by the end of the century. The increasing of 4 inches could inundate many islands in the southern sea and swamps in Southeast Asia.

Strong storms, droughts, heat waves, forest fires, and other natural disasters is likely going to be happened in the world. The growth of the desert can also cause food shortages in many places
In conclusion, people must save and nurture the world. Thus, the effects of global warming can be reduced
